We’re down to the Bluets (blue-striped damselflies), which is a handy term encompassing two genera.
All but one of our Bluets fall into the Coenagrion genus, sporting the so-called “Coenagrion spur” on the side of the thorax. The exception is the Common Blue Damselfly (Enallagma cyathigerum) with NO spur and with very wide antehumeral stripes in both sexes.
