Australia has a number of potentially confusing red (in the mature male) Anisoptera. Largely for myself, this is my aide-memoire page to help clarify what I think are the distinguishing features. Since the Australian Field Guide is so weak on pictures and id pointers, any misinformation is entirely down to myself.
