These two, Migrant Hawker (Aeshna mixta) and Moorland/Common Hawker (Aeshna juncea) can be confused quite readily. This is entirely understandable since both are mosaic hawkers, the females of which both show very short antehumeral stripes. [The male Moorland/Common Hawker does not, notice.]
