Getting a handle on all the x-gomphus genera is something of a challenge; hot on the heals of Austrogomphus and Hemigomphus comes Antipodogomphus.
I needed help identifying Antipodogomphus proselythus, found on our FNQ 2022 trip. It is endemic to Queensland.
I thought initially I had seen just a single individual in one location but closer inspection revealed that I have a female as well as a male.
