Austroaeschna multipunctata (Multi-spotted Darner)

This one is endemic to New South Wales and eastern Victoria.

I was very lucky to have this single example fly across the path I was walking on in the bush and have it settle on a tree nearby. It subsequently moved to a smaller tree for a less cluttered background. I was surprised it stuck around for more shots.
