The delightfully named Splendid Longlegs, endemic to Australia, is one of three Austrocnemis species there. These are very small damselflies with hind-wings <14mm long but with, as the name implies, very long legs.
On my 2019 Queensland excursion, I saw just one single example of this species and, even more unfortunately, did not get the greatest of pictures, it being as small as it is and somewhat distant. Post Covid-19, my 2022 trip to FNQ produced a single female to complete the set.
