We found this pretty much everywhere in Cambodia though it took me two days to realize what I’d been looking at. A modestly sized little dragonfly classed as a groundling which is much more photogenic with water behind it, as are most things.
Occurs in Singapore as well although we didn’t actually see any there. However, we went to Sri Lanka in 2019 and saw it there where a different vernacular/common name is used: Asian Groundling. So, the photographs below employ both common names depending upon where they were taken.
