Chorismagrion risi (Pretty Relict) is another monotypic genus of damselfly and this time is also endemic to northeastern Queensland. What a star but, if ever there was a naff common name, this must be it.
We met two examples of this on our FNQ 2022 trip, one at Millaa Millaa Falls and another at the Josephine Falls Track. Both were female so regrettably I have no male example, though our second looks as if is hanging just above its exuviae.
