This is also called the Northern White-faced Darter (but including that mouthful in the title makes it ungainly).
This species is painfully similar to the UK’s Small Whiteface/White-faced Darter but is larger and a little more robust. It has broader colour spots on the abdomen.
This is one that I was led to by a friend in the Netherlands, along with all the other Whitefaces. This one was cohabiting with the so-called Irish Damselfly/Crescent Bluet.
