An Australian endemic, this species appears to have two separated distributions, one in the north of the Northern Territories and another in northeast Queensland, which is where mine came from during FNQ 2022.
This is an attractive damselfly, the male having teardrop shaped antehumeral stripes, broadening at the anterior, and a yellow tint to the wings. My specimens were from the river running beside our Cairns Crystal Cascades Holiday Park.
