This is probably one of my favourites from FNQ 2022. Not only is it an attractive damselfly but it’s also endemic and was, up until 2017, a monotypic genus. In 2017 Theischinger and Burwell, however, described a 2nd species, O. rosendaleorum.
I met this O. fiolicicola (Slender Wiretail) three times at Crystal Cascades, Josephine Falls Track and Robert Road Park.
