Another of the potentially confusing red males in the region, this one being similar to O. chrysis. This has a brighter red abdomen with an orange-brown thorax and lighter eyes. Though supposedly common, we saw just this one example in the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Thought to exist in Cambodia but I haven’t found any photographic evidence.
